Hi DirectAutomatio,
Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community Forum ! If you're experiencing the issue with an order with freight when converted to an invoice with backorder items, the freight is charged on the initial invoice, this is still with our product teams. For now they have advised to edit the freight amount when converting the invoice.
