Changing "receive money" to "receive payment" transaction

Hi,

 

I recorded a deposit transaction to "receive money" when i meant to record it in the receive payment.

How do I change "receive money" to "receive payment" deposit transaction?

    I really appreciate your assistance, immensely helpful.

     

    One other issue im having. How come some "approved" transactions are not showing on my bank feed when I click on the approved header ( where you have current/ hidden/ appoved bar)

    Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad I could assist you! Regarding the issue with approved transactions not showing on your bank feed under the “approved” header, it might be beneficial to check if these transactions are visible in the Find transactions window. Sometimes, transactions might not immediately reflect in the bank feed view but could still be visible in the broader Find Transactions section. Please take a look there to see if the “approved” transactions are listed.

    Hi Princess_R,

     

    Could I then unmatch the transaction from Find transactions window ? 

    The reason Im desperately in need to find my approved transactions are to unmatch/ unapprove them, and then allocate it/ match it to the correct myob accounting account.

    Hi yakobaj,

     

    Thank you for your response. To answer your question, you cannot unmatch transactions on the Find transaction screen. You can only undo the matched or approved transactions from the bank feed window in AccountRight.

     

    Before we proceed, we'll need to confirm a few details. Could you please confirm if you've approved transactions? Ideally, if you close the bank feeds window, any approved matches will no longer appear the next time you open the window. To redisplay approved matches, you'll need to select Approved in the Display transactions field. Just ensure that you're selecting the correct account.

     

    Could you please confirm the steps you've taken when processing the received money transactions?

    Hi,

     

    Find > Receive money > allocated to Trade debtor account. 

     

    When im meant to > Receive payment.

     

    Its not showing me the transactions on the approved field :( 

     

    do you know as to why this is the case

    I wanted to provide some clarity regarding the visibility of transactions based on their processing location. Transactions processed through the "Receive Money" function in the bank feed window will typically reflect within that window. However, transactions processed via the banking command center's "Receive Money" function will not appear in your bank feeds window.

     

    I can provide some other steps that might help you find those transactions. If you can try to access your account online via web browser, try to go to Banking > Bank Transactions and check the allocated transactions. For further information, kindly refer to this Help article: Matching bank transactions.

    Hi Princess,

     

    firstly, I process all transactions through the "Receive Money" function in the bank feed window. 

     

    Secondly, I can find all the transactions via "find transactions".

     

    My query is how can I unmatch deposit transactions when theyre not displaying on the "approved" header in bank feeds.
