Custom Templates

when I am creating my custom forms, I have come across 2 issues.

Issue 1:

when I insert a shape and then put text on top of the shape, I tell the shape to send to back but every time I make changes to the template the shape ends up on top of the text and I have to the keep telling the shape to send to back.

Issue 2:

When I put a line in and edit the template sometime the line becomes invisible, and I have to delete the line and add a new line as changing the colour of the line does nothing.
