Customise Receipts - Changing Date Format

It would appear that the US date format issue has still not been fixed. The last update I found here was two years ago.

But then it is still happening.

Any sight of a fix?

Thanks

    Hi RJTROTTER,

It appears that the US date format issue has been a persistent problem. To resolve this, you can check the date format on your device. Ensure that the regional settings on the affected workstation are set to English (Australia) or English (New Zealand). This can be done by navigating to the Control Panel, selecting Clock, Language, and Region, and then Date and Time. Make sure the Short date format is set to dd/mm/yyyy.

    Best regards,

    Doreen

    Hi Doreen_P

Has this date issue been solved as yet?

I have tried adjusting all systems on my computer to ensure the date is in the correct date format, however the invoice date on receipts is still in the American format MM/DD/YYY instead of the system format of Australian DD/MM/YYYY.

This is resulting in very unprofessional receipts being sent, making all companies using this function within MYOB being viewed as inept.

Please see the screenshot and the two different date formats.

Can we please get an update to this problem which seems to have been going on for over 3 years!

    Thanks

    Hi Bec18,

Cheers for giving your Windows setting a go, much appreciated. You're right, it doesn’t look professional when receipts don’t show the Australian date format. I'm afraid there hasn’t been a new update or ETA yet, the issue is still with our product team and being tracked. While there isn’t a fix just yet, you can get the right AU date format by backing up your online file, restoring it locally, and printing from the local copy (it prints in DD/MM/YYYY). I’ve shared this with the team and flagged your account as impacted on the ticket to help with prioritising a fix. We’ll update the community as soon as there’s more to share.

    Cheers,

    Princess
