Email defaults for Sales Invoices

Hi

I have found how to change the email defaults in both the browser version and desktop version of MYOB AccountRight. However, it doesn't allow for everything to be edited.

When MYOB emails out the sales invoice it puts it's own little summary in it, which means, if we have turned off attach pdf option (so that we can see that they have opened the invoice), they see the summary and don't bother to click on the link to open up the invoice. This is an issue when then invoice amount is NOT the balance owing. This also doesn't help us to see if the invoice has been opened or not, which is why we turned off the attached option. It also puts the invoice amount in the top portion of the summary.

How can we change this information?

    Yes, you can indeed tweak some default email settings in both the browser and desktop versions of MYOB AccountRight. Specifically, you can customise invoice templates and default messages. However, there are a few limitations—namely, you cannot change the email summary or the default email format when sending items to customers, and there's no workaround for this limitation at this time. I'd highly encourage you to visit our Ideas board and share this as a suggestion for potential consideration in future updates.
