Expenses not appearing in Job reports

I have allocated specific jobs to expenses on a purchase bill, but when I run a report on Job Transactions, it does not show. The report only shows the sales transaction. Kindly assist.

    Hi AsnaS,

     

    Thanks for the post. In report, make sure that all is selected in filters. When processing job transactions for accruals, bills with applied payments won't show as accruals because they're already settled. For details on all job expenses, including paid ones, consider checking the Job Activity Report.

    Thanks for your reply. The expenses are not showing up on any of the jobs reports, including the Job Activity (Summary) and Job Activity (Detail). They are showing up on the Jobs List, but not in any of the other jobs reports. 

     

    Please assist.

    Hi AsnaS,

     

    Could you please check the filters on the insert/modify screen? Also, verify if the transactions appear in the Job Profit and Loss report. Please note that job transactions are on an accrual basis, so if a transaction has been paid, it may not show up. 

     

    If you still encounter issues, kindly send a full screenshot of the screen while covering any sensitive numbers.

  • I have the same problem. It seems to have started since about March. There are various items missing from the job activity report. Can you please advise if this is a known but and any work around available?

    Hi Ek0106,

     

    I understand that you have the same issue as expenses not appearing in Job reports. Have you tried Isaiah's suggestion above? Please check the filters on the insert/modify screen? Also, verify if the transactions appear in the Job Profit and Loss report. Please note that job transactions are on an accrual basis, so if a transaction has been paid, it may not show up.
