Item price not updating when using recurring sales

Older versions of accountright (premier) automatically updated item selling price when using recurring sales.

This is now not the case, on a great feature that many users used like and now rely on. When will this issue be restored please ? I've been waiting years to update to current version and can't until this feature is restored.

I've built a business on having up to the minute pricing on hundreds of items/questions everyday....

Can't update and have no support- not very happy. Come on!!!!! not fair. I purchased MYOB with this feature!

Here is the answer the last time I asked this question- (how about an updated answer?)

Hi @Bimmy

AccountRight 20xx will take the item's price when the recurring transaction was first created. This does mean that if the item price is updated this will not be reflected in previously created recurring transactions.

As you have mentioned, this is a change from the AccountRight Classic (v19) range. As such, it is something that we have passed across to the required team for further investigation in the AccountRight 201xx range. However, we don't have an exact timeframe for when that feature will be available in the AccountRight 20xx range.

Kind regards,
Steven

    Hi bimmy,

Thank you so much for your detailed post and my apologies for the late response.

I understand your frustration. Currently, when recording a recurring transaction, the transactional value is initially set for future recordings. If there's a need to change this value, users must manually update the recurring transaction with the correct price. It's important to note that there is no automated system or bulk update tool available for automatically updating this pricing. I have also followed up with the relevant team to inquire about the ongoing investigation of this issue.

Feel free to post again if you have further queries and one of us will be happy to assist you.
    Regards,
    Earl
