Paying an Bill or Purchase Order in installments

Hello, 

 

I have created a 1 PO for 2 repair jobs at a mechanic service but they have sent us 2 seperate Invoices 

I converted the PO to a bill and am now wondering 

How can I split the bill into 2 partial payments? as if to pay something in installments 

Also might be worth mentioning that they must be paid in a bulk payment together 

They cannot be direct debited

    hi Scoll-12 

     

    I assume you are saying you have two invoices say for $100 and $200 and are paying via an ABA file.

     

    Go and do a pay bill $100 and record their invoice number in the  statement text, and your name.

     

    Then do another pay bill for the remainder with that invoice number and your name in the statement text.

     

    Your bill will be paid in full in your data file and they will know which invoice the amounts are paying.
