Sales invoice payment link

Hi guys. 

 

We've had customers saying the Green Payment link buttons on our invoice emails aren't working. 

We've tested and get the following error: "bad url - reference number: j4JY-aRtNOy4EqWMdfeWZQ"

 

The link in the invoice attachment and the blue link" View your unpaid invoices" at the bottom of the email are all working fine. 

 

Could someone please let me know if this is a known issue- I've checked the status page but it isn't showing. Or is this just affecting us?

  • We are still having some issues with customers able to open some invoices but others are directing them to a payment screen, and they are still unable to view the invoice.  Please fix this ASAP....it has been causing headaches for our customers all day.

  • We are also having this problem. We email the invoice, the customer clicks on "View invoice" and they get an error message "bad url - reference number: da9VWMWt1E5YtnwDvaNk0Q" The reference number changes each time they try to go into the invoice. Please look into this urgently

    Thanks for flagging the error on the forum. It’s a known issue, and our devs are already onto it. I’m confident the payment button will be sorted as soon as possible. In the meantime, the workaround is to copy the payment link and open it in a new tab.

    Hey AJR076,

     

    Thanks for flagging the bad url on your invoice links. It’s been sorted and things should be working as expected now. If any earlier emails still play up, re‑send the invoice so it grabs the corrected link, and a quick browser cache clear and refresh usually does the trick.

    Yes I am having this issue as well. 

  • Please advise if this issue is actually resolved, our customers are still reporting downloading invoice issues???

    I'm having the same issue - all customer cannot access our "view invoice" link and I cant access suppliers invoices with the "view invoice" link. this is the below message we are all getting.

    Hi everyone,

     

    Appreciate you following up! We can confirm the incident impacting invoice links has been resolved, and the update has been posted on our Status Hub. If any customers are still seeing problems, please reissue the invoice to generate a fresh link, plus have them clear cache to refresh. If it’s still not working after reissuing, they can call us, jump on live chat with our virtual assistant MOCA, or log a support ticket via MyAccount and we’ll take a look.
