Annual Leave accrual on LSL

Hi all,

 

have staff member on LSL.

He is still entitled to annual leave accrual whilst on LSL.

How do i best account for this accrual  in Myob Account Right without affecting other employees.

 

 

 

Do i have to create a new Annual Leave category so it does not affect the other employees accruals?

    Hi Di64,

     

    Thanks for your post. Yes, it’s best to create another Annual Leave category for that employee only. Since this is a new setup, using a separate category means you can allow annual leave to keep accruing while they’re on long service leave without affecting the setup for your other employees.

    Hi Di64,

    You dont need to create any new Annual leave accrual category for this employee as this employee will be accruing annual leave as normal. ( Being working or on Long service leave does not impact annual leave accrual in any way- unless Long service leave is ticked as an EXEMPT in annual leave accrual category.)
