Deleting Transactions

I am suddenly unable to delete a transaction by right-clicking.  This is not as a result of the latest update, it's only happened in the last few days.  This relates to all transactions, not payroll

    Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community Forum.

     

    I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties in deleting transactions. Here are some reasons that may hinder deletion.

    • There is a lock period in the file and the transaction is within a lock period.
    • The option in "Transactions can't be changed" is marked checked.
    • The UserID you are using does not have read/write permission.

    I recommend checking all three of these to make sure you can delete a transaction.

    I wouldn't have posted if I hadn't checked all the things you suggest.  As per my post, no changes had been made to our settings.  Miraculously however, almost immediately after posting, the problem was resolved.

    I'm not sure what has caused it previously, but I'm glad it's working properly now.
