Final wages for FY did not include ATO reporting category, figures now do not balance.

My last pay for the financial year had leave loading & the ato reporting category was not selected (did not receive a notification it was not selected) so the amount wasn't included in the ato reporting hence the total amount for the year is now out.  How do I fix this with the ATO?  I am new to single touch payroll so it's all a bit new to me.  Thanks

    Hey Malindi,

     

    No worries, sorting out wages that doesn't have an ATO reporting category is pretty straightforward. All you need to do is update the ATO reporting category for the leave loading pay item, then send an update event through STP. This will refresh the figures and ensure the final wages are included in the payroll reporting to the ATO. If you need more details on how to do this, you can check this link for more info.
