Flare - MYOB data checking

Hi,

I have deactivated the invitation for new employees to review their data by unticking the email address option. However, it seems MYOB (Flare) is still sending the link to new employees to check the data I’ve entered, which is causing some confusion, as they don’t need to verify this information—that’s part of my role.

Could you advise on how to ensure MYOB doesn’t send this link to new starters in the future?

Thanks!

Regards,
Indigo

    Hey IndigoHermawan,

To ensure that Flare does not send the link to new employees to check the data you’ve entered, you need to adjust the settings related to the employee onboarding process. During the Employee self-onboarding process, ensure that the "Provide access to employee benefits" checkbox is not selected. This checkbox controls whether new employees receive an invitation to review and complete their data. You can also check this link for more information.

    Best regards,

    Doreen

  • Thank you for this. However, we don not use the Employee self-onboarding process. When we manually enter employee details, once the email address of the employee is populated an email is sent to the employee for self-onboarding and we are not able to untick the "Provide access to employee benefits". Is there another way to disable this functionality in MYOB?

    Hi Theresa_B1,

I can see how that'd be a bit of a pain if you're entering things manually. If what our moderator suggested doesn't do the trick, someone's already popped this idea on our Ideas Board. If you reckon it's worth pushing up the list, you can chuck your vote on it here: Disable Flare Benefits offer | MYOB Community. The more votes, the more likely the team is to give it some love in a future update.

    Regards,

    Sai
