Myob and Employment Hero

Hello myob friends
I have a recurring issue where the hourly rates in Myob are quietly changing back to old amounts.  We had it happen a few pay runs ago and then again today for two staff.
We are linked to Employment Hero but do not currently use the payroll function in EH as we still do everything in myob.  I know that it is something to do with EH but cannot for the life of me work out what or why and more importantly how to stop it from happening.

I searched the forum and found a thread where they said to go into payroll and the wage categories and ensure that the 'automatically adjust' box is not ticked (which is isn't).  However I can only see this option in the web browser version, not the desktop software (which we use).

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

    Hi there Wendy__

I was able to run some fixing on your file. Before you change the hourly rate again, you'll need log out and then log back in. Once changed, make sure to check the standard pay section first to make sure that the change has been applied. You can also check this link for more information.

    Best regards,

    Doreen

Thank you Doreen, All our rates are ok as of today's pay run, but for two employees today (out of 19), the rates reverted back to an old rate (we didn't change anything).

This also happened a few pay cycles ago when almost everyone had lower hourly rates than the previous pay cycle.

I really think it is something to do with Employment Hero and was wondering if there was a way to block pay rates from changing unless we manually amended them in MYOB.

    Hi Wendy__ ,

It's interesting how these employee wages with connections to Employment Hero act differently from other employee wages. I recommend you to reach out to Employment Hero to see if there is a solution for this.

In the meantime, feel free to create a new thread if you need any other help.

    Thanks,
