MYOB teams not working

Ok so I have previously used myob teams but gave up because of the hopeless service and intermittant issues with staff not being able to login to the app but stupidly thought I would try and give it a shot with a new business.  So the issue now is that staff are not receiving an invite email.  FYI

  1. Have followed the instructions to the letter
  2. Have deleted and readded approving managers/employees at least 3 times now
  3. Have tried setting different locations  for employees
  4. Have emailed support last Thursday and again this morning - no response
  5. checked all settings are correct in myob payroll
  6. all staff emails are correct
  7. Exploring other apps that will integrate with myob as myob support worthless
  8. asking myself why we pay for this **bleep**py programme

Any help from other users would be greatly appreciated as I have had myob teams work well in the past.

    Hi kelson ,

    I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with MYOB Teams. It sounds incredibly frustrating. Here are a few suggestions that might help: check that invite emails aren't in spam/junk folders; try using different email addresses for invites; ensure approving managers and employees are using compatible browsers and devices; clear browser cache and cookies; and double-check that employee accounts in MYOB are active and correctly set up to receive invites. Additionally, try deleting the location and setting it up again to reinvite employees.

    Thank you for your reply but unfortunately I have tried all these workarounds and the result is still the same, I would appreciate another suggestion as to fix or is the system just not working?  I have added myself as an employee and sent an invite but still not able to receive the invite email.

    Still no response?  Please see my previous reply.  Do I need to look elsewhere for another provider as an alternative to myob teams?

    My apologies for the late response. If you're still having this issue after following all the troubleshooting steps, additional assistance from the backend may be required. I recommend reaching out to our virtual assistant, MOCA. It's designed to dive deeper into issues like this. Give it a try!   • i have also had this issue the last two payrolls, contacted the virtual assistant and nothing they said helped like clearing the cache, using a different browser, creating a new roster, dupicating etc etc. if only it allowed me to be logged in long enough to do so!. I log in and for 5 seconds it shows timesheets, when i then click on employees it shows 0 (we have 60), locations 0 (we have 55), then all the timesheets disappear and then the portal itself closes and i cant log in again as it does not even show my business listed! the other day we sat there for 1 hour and it still did not connect. tonight the same, i just wanted to add a location to an employee and could not even do this; there is something seriously wrong here - please fix MYOB!!!!!!

  • by the way.. we have been using myob team for over a year now with moderate success give or take a missed timesheet but now it is not working at all, not sure what i am paying for here.

Since basic troubleshooting steps and help from our virtual assistant MOCA didn't resolve the issue, I recommend submitting a support ticket directly from your MyAccount portal for further assistance.     Yep gave up using myob teams - was a great concept but the support (lack of) from myob made this a time consuming waste of time.  We reverted back to manual timesheet inputs - have to wonder if myob is just a money pit, certainly not a productive system nor cheap to administer.
