Payroll activity report & STP report not matching

Hi,

 

Our payroll activity reports are not matching what we have on STP reports, if we select same period, payroll activity report, it pick up previous week's pay run. For example, 10/08 to 16/08 payroll activity report actually shows pay roll for 03/08 to 10/08, it does this every pay run.

 

Can anyone help? Thanks!

    Thanks for your post. Payroll reports filter according to the payment date of the pay run, not the pay period dates. This is in line with the ATO requirement that the payment date determines the month/quarter/financial year that pay runs and super are reported in.

     

    This means that if you run the Payroll activity report for the period 10/08 to 16/08, only pay runs with payment dates in that period will be reported.
