Payroll Category for Training

Hi

 

I need to set up a payroll category for a Supervisor to get paid a one off amount of $75 each time she trains an Employee. I would like to know how to set this up in AccountRight Payroll, I believe this would be a Task Allowance for STP2 reporting purposes.

    Hey Ambrosia,

     

    To set up a payroll category for wages, follow these steps:

     

    • Payroll Categories. Go to Payroll > Payroll Categories > Wages.
    • Create a New Category. Click on New and enter the needed details for the new wage category.
    • Link to Employee. After creating the payroll category, open it and make sure it's linked to the employee.

    You can check this link for more information. Once the wage category is set up, you can proceed with processing the pay run and manually enter the $75 against the new payroll category. Regarding the ATO reporting category, it's best to speak with your accountant or check this link for STP reporting.
