Payroll Category YTD Balance Cannot Be Updated

Hi everyone, 

 

While preparing the payment summary, for one of our employees, the number of ETP-taxable component in STP does not match the empoyee's YTD payroll activity in myob. 

 

Even though we send through a few update events, or process $1 dollar pay for that employee, the YTD balance is just not updated to STP. 

 

Can anyone provide some help?

    Hi Wayne_Yip,

     

    Thank you for the post. In regard to discrepancy between the ETP-taxable component in STP and the employee's YTD payroll activity, please ensure that the ETP-taxable component is correctly set up. Check the payroll categories for ETP and verify that they are mapped correctly to the corresponding ATO reporting categories.

     

    Go to the employee's card file and check the setup for the ETP components. Make sure that all relevant fields, such as termination dates and payment types, are accurately filled out. Make sure as well that the payroll categories for the ETP are set up to report under the correct ATO reporting categories. Go to Payroll Categories and check the settings.

     

    Go to Payroll> Payroll Reporting> Payroll Activity Detail and compare the YTD figures in MYOB against what is reported in STP. Ensure that no adjustments have been missed.
