Payroll Reporting Centre - HR Staff member unable to access YTD Verification Report/payment summaries

Good Morning

 

Our HR person has been using MYOB for 12 months now; no issues submitting pays every week via the portal to the ATO, submissions have been fine. 

 

She came to do the YTD balancing etc ( her user setup is payroll only) - and MYOB not allow her to access the YTD Verification report or the staff Summary Reports - I have had to give her admin access to enable to to finalise the EOFY payroll balancing etc.   Our MYOB consultant couldnt work out why she didnt have access to finish of the pays for the year either - has anyone else encountered this issue?

    Thanks for your post, and sorry for the delay in response.

     

    When your HR person tried to access the YTD Verification report or Individual Summary report, did she receive an error message? If you could attach a screenshot of the error message so I can investigate it further on my end. Make sure to remove sensitive information before posting in the Forum. Also, you may try to re-invite her to the file with the original user access to see if it will allow her to access the YTD Verification report or Individual Summary report.

    Thanks for your response.

     

    When re-inviting an existing user, if they will be using the same email address, you will need to delete or inactive the existing log-ins. To do this, go to Setup > User Access > From the User Access window, kindly highlight the User ID and click the recycle icon to delete. Once done, you can click the New User button. For further information, kindly check The Help Article Invite a user to an online file.

    Hi Doreen

     

    I am not able to delete the user as it has transactions. 

     

    My only option would be to invite the user again but use a different email address?  But then if I set her up again as per setup of her current login - may result in yet again the same issue?

     

    I will await your advice.

    Thanks for your response.

     

    If you create a new user access with a different email address, the user will no longer receive the same error. Also, make sure to tick the "This user will sign on with a my.MYOB account". Please refer to the screenshot below.
