Prepaid Salary/Wage
I am wondering how to record prepaid salaey/wage.
We have expatriates who are paid in Australia and overseas.
Overseas salary is paid in overseas in foreign currency by parent company.
We need include foreign currency salary for Australian tax and withholding tax purposes. However if we include this foreign currency salary in payroll, bank payment file also incudes this so doubel payments.
Is there any way to record this but not include in bank payment file?
e.g. treat this as prepayment.
