Setting PAYG tax rates

Hi

I am supporting a client in the Solomon Islands. They have different PAYG rates to both Australia and New Zealand.

Is it possible to load PAYG/ PAYE rates into either the Australian or New Zealand software?

Kind Regards

Julie Thompson

  • Hi Yodama

No this is not possible with AR2023. Only possible with older versions such as Plus or Premier v19.12 and earlier - available from FGH Tables.

    Regards

    Gavin

  • Hi Yodama

Thank you for your post. As gavin12345 mentioned, if you're using the latest version of AccountRight and you're connected to the internet, you'll always have access to the most up to date tax tables. The ATO release updated tax tables, also called the tax scales, each year. They contain the rates of tax to be applied to your employees' pays so the correct amount of tax is withheld. If you need more information, here's a Help Article on PAYG tax tables

      Hi Sean_DC

I have recently started supporting an organisation in the Solomon Islands, Their PAYE/PAYG rates are different to both New Zealand and Australian rates. Since the tax tables have been removed they have to manually add the PAYG/PAYE individually to over 200 employees' pay.   What do you suggest to solve this problem?

      Hi Yodama

At the moment, MYOB is based on Australian and New Zealand taxes. For the latest updates of our products, tax tables are automatically updated and should no longer require users to upload them manually. We are still open to your suggestions or ideas which you can post here on our Product Ideas Board
