Unable to send 'request employee details' email

We have been unsuccessful in sending an email request to a returning employee. Below is a copy of the error message. What is the work around for is?

    Hi melindawatson,

     

    The error "Failed to send email" when sending a self-onboarding request, could be due to a few reasons:

     

    • The request was sent to multiple employees at once. Make sure to send it to one employee at a time.
    • The business's General Payroll Information isn't fully completed. You can check this by going to Setup > General Payroll Information.

     

    You can also send the request via browser to see if that works. For more details, check out this link. If the issue persists, it's best to contact our support team directly on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via MyAccount so they can look into it.
