Why Not? No Category General Ledger Summary Report Previous Tax Year

Hi,

 

I wonder if someone can tell me why MYOB decided to make the edict that certain reports are no longer available for previous financial years? Note that I am talking about a REPORT which just REPORTS on the data previously entered. It does NOT - or should not - actually CHANGE the data!  

 

I went to use a Category General Ledger Summary which would be really useful for a Treasurer in part of our business. Was not allowed to display it.

    Thanks for your query.

    If you would like to populate reports of a past years data, it would best to restore a backup from a previous financial year rollover to view this information. The reason of past data reporting not being stored in company files that have been rolled over is to save space and speed in the file itself. We understand that this is not ideal for all customers but this is the best workaround we can advise of.
