I am running AccountRightPlus and have 2 companies using the same serial number both are Offline.
I would like to "Go Online" with 1 company and have the other company still working Offline using version 2026.04.
I have purchased an online subscription for 1 company and have been given a new serial number.
If I change the current serial number being used for both companies will the other "Off line" company still be able to be used?

Yes, I believe so - users do this all the time - the offline file doesn't check subscriptions to be opened so even a file with an old serial should open.
But things are changing in that area in the last few months - I have offline files - old serials that can still be opened.

Thank you for your patience. Yes, the other company file should still be fine to use offline, as long as you only change the serial number in the company file you want to move online.
I’d also agree with what The_Doc said. Really appreciate how helpful that explanation was. The other company file can stay on the old serial number and continue being used offline.
Just keep in mind that the new online subscription is for one company file, so only that file should be linked to the new serial number.
