Account Rite Offline Files

I am responding to your email

"From 17 June 2026, AccountRight will only support company files stored online. Offline mode will no longer be available."

I have two MYOB files, one has always been online and is not a problem.

I have a separate small business file which is offline.

I am willing to subscribe to bring this file online.

It is currently accessed by the User ID with no password.

When I attempt to subscribe to MYOB LITE it requests an Email Address and password which I do not use or have.

How do I subscribe to bring this file online?

    Hi BespokePlaygrou​ 

    What you need are 2 desktop icons, one for online files that updates, and one for offline files that does not update. If you don't know how to do this, don't expect MYOB to help as they claim it can't be done. Get someone who knows what they are doing to set this up for you.  Contact me via email if you want me to put you in touch with someone who can set this up remotely for you for a small fee.

    Hi SueB1962,

     

    I’m sorry to hear how much time you’ve spent trying to get through. I can see you’ve already got one file online and need to move two more offline files online as well. If calling Sales has been difficult, there are a couple of other ways to get help:

     

    • You can go to our Contact us page and use the chat bubble at the bottom of the page. Our virtual assistant MOCA can connect you with the team through live chat.
    • You can also log in to My Account, click Contact support, and submit a support request there. The team will get back to you by email.

     

    Hopefully one of those options is a bit easier than waiting on hold.

    Please tell me that MYOB have put on a few more staff to deal with this change, sitting here already on hold for 37 mins. 

    I have the same issue. I have a small business and use account right plus, but have a second company offline with no employees just a monthly income from one client and a couple of expenses like rates. But I think they are saying that we have to buy 2 separate subscriptions or get the Premier which I really don't want or need.  Is this happening as a revenue generating thing, because NO ONE benefits from this just MYOB!

    Hello Doreen,

     

    I have subscription for AccountRight Plus so 1 online company file, but have 2 offline files that need to go online.

    Last week I spent a total of just over 2 hours on hold over 3 attempts trying to contact Sales.  I can't tie up our only office phone for that long!!!  Is there some other way to contact Sales or get subscriptions for the other 2 files.  Very frustrating and worried I won't be able to get them transferred in time.

    Hi Over-Boots,

     

    That’s a smart one to double-check before setting anything up. Using the same MYOB login to set up an MYOB Business Lite file shouldn’t affect your existing online AccountRight file. The files stay separate under the one login, rather than one replacing the other.

    If I use the same login details to set up a MYOB Business Lite online file can you confirm this will not impact on my existing online AccountRight file?

    Hi Over-Boots,

     

    Great to see you getting ahead of this before offline mode officially waves goodbye.

     

    You’re only a few steps away from getting that second file online. How you bring the other file online really depends on how you’d like to use it. If you’d like to keep working in AccountRight, our sales team can help you set up a new online company file subscription. If you’d rather go with MYOB Business Lite, you can sign in using the same MYOB account login details you use for your existing online AccountRight file. Please note that switching to MYOB Business Lite would mean transferring your offline AccountRight file data over.
