If the file is already on 2026.5.1.15 and everything is working normally in AccountRight desktop, but opening it in the browser still shows "Business needs to be upgraded", this isn’t usually something you can resolve from your side.
At this point, the best next step is to contact our support team through My Account or by connecting with our live chat team through MOCA, our virtual assistant, so they can investigate it further and connect you with the right team if needed.
It's also helpful if you have these details when you reach out:
- the file was recently moved online
- it opens and works in desktop
- browser access shows "Business needs to be upgraded" even though the file is already on 2026.5.1.15
- you’ve already tried opening it from the browser prompt
That will give the team the detail they need to check the online file’s upgrade status from their side.
