The Help menu’s spot on. There’s no direct edit option for usernames, so you’ll need to either deactivate or delete their access. If you'll use the same email address, deactivating won’t cut it. Instead, deleting the user’s access is the clean slate you need, letting you set them up anew with their updated username and keeping the email intact.
