General journal numbers auto duplicating
Hello, over the last few days our general journal entries have had their numbers auto duplicate with current journals we have in locked periods. This has never happened before. I have been manually changing but it is getting a bit tiresome. Any help to get this back to normal would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Thanks for letting us know. To resolve it, you can manually enter the next journal number to get past the point where the numbering seems to be stuck. Continue manually assigning numbers until the system resumes automatic numbering.
If the issue persists, you can try skipping ahead by entering a significantly higher journal number to see if the auto-numbering picks up from there. While we understand this may not be ideal, this process will help us identify where the numbering is stuck and ensure the system continues functioning for you.
