MYOB Access

Hello - tried to open MYOB today. Typed email nothing shows.  Slight panic but rang my accountant who said same thing happening to them so phew, not just me.  But they said they typed anyway and nothing showed but access still occurred including the mobile 2FA.  I did this and access still worked, (don't type any errors!) - so what's happening.

Also after recent windows updates I am windows 10 latest versions) My trend micro blocks a folder called Powershell.exe saying its trying to adjust files. This happens after the computer is started and tried to adjust files 4 times. I haven't allowed it until I know what it is.  Would this affect the MYOB program? and should I allow it to be exempt in Trend.

Thanks for the help

Rob

  • Hi robs1,

We are continuing efforts to resolve the display issue on the AccountRight Desktop application, which is affecting the visibility of characters entered on the login page. You can check our Status Hub page for updates.

Regarding your second issue, the PowerShell.exe file is a legitimate part of Windows operating systems and is used for task automation and configuration management. Trend Micro's warning about this file trying to adjust files could be due to a security update or other legitimate activity. To fix this, we recommend consulting an IT Specialist for assistance.

    Regards,
    Earl
