MYOB AccountRight Enterprise 19.14 tried all the troubleshooting still getting initialisation error

Good morning MYOB community,

I have been using MYOB since 1996. I am not actively using it for Bookkeeping customers anymore but still use it for tracking my personal finances.

I am currently using the PC version of MYOB AccountRight Enterprise 19.14 and I wanted to view some of my old MYO files from previous years that I know might have been Premier or another version of MYOB.

To make a short story long I installed a few of the older versions to see if I could open the old files but to no avail and gave up.

When I went to open my current MYOB file in AccountRight Enterprise 19.14 I am now getting an initialisation error.

I have tried all the troubleshooting suggested including uninstalling all the MYOB installations, reinstalling and running the sysdm.cpl fix. I've tried the Microsoft Fix it tool. I downloaded the AccountRight registry key remover (InstallationKeyRemover1213.exe) from this site but when I try to run it I get an error message that The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

None of the fixes suggested here are working. I'm still getting the initialisation error. Is there anything else I can try. I'm pulling my hair out :)

KInd regards
Rob

    Hi RobbieMac

It sounds as though you may have tried the following but just in case:

    The steps outlined

-Open the System Properties control panel applet (fastest method is right click Start > Run > type 'sysdm.cpl')
-Go to the Advanced tab and click on Settings... under Performance.
-Go to the Data Execution Prevention tab, click Add... and navigate to "Myob.exe" wherever you installed -AccountRight ,  (your executable file may have a different name). Press Apply and finish.

If you really can't find a solution here, then contact FGH Tables as they should be able to assist for a very moderate fee.

    Cheers
