unable to view attachemnts in their correct format in the desktop version.

Hi,

I am trying to open invoices that have been captured with the app & sent to the tray, or are already attached to invoices in the Desktop version. When I click on them, Word opens and converts them to something unrecognisable. I have no problems viewing them in the online version...what am I doing wrong??

    Hi Karma_m,

    Thanks for sharing this. This can sometimes happen as the desktop computer is trying to open the attached invoice files, which are likely PDFs or image files, with Microsoft Word instead of a PDF reader or image viewer. Word cannot properly interpret the data from a different file type, which is why it appears garbled and unreadable. To fix this, you'd need to change the default app for that file type.
