Upgrade from AccountRight Premier V19.10

We are upgrading our MYOB, and I have a question:  Backup of cloud-based file:  The weekly backup by MYOB isn't sufficient, and we need to have a local daily backup.  Is that possible?

If local backup of a cloud-based file isn't possible, what about if we just kept it on the desktop?

  • Hi M-M-M,

If you move your file online, your data sits safely in MYOB's secure data centres. It's automatically backed up weekly and those backups are kept for six months. Super handy, but just so you know, that's not the same as doing your own backup. A backup you take yourself is like a snapshot of the file at that exact moment. So even if you're working online, it's still a good idea to back up now and then (File > Back up) and pop a copy on your desktop or an external drive.

And yep, even with your file online, you can still open and use it on the desktop version too. Best of both worlds!

Here's a link with a bit more info that might help: About backing up and restoring company files.

    Regards,
