Unable to upgrade (Multicurrency) from AccountRight V19.16 premier to AccountRight Live

Dear Support,

We use AccountRight V19.16 Premier - multicurrency and are trying to move to MYOB Live AccountRight.  During the upload, error message came back saying the file is not supported.  Can we have your advice please to identify what blocks the file from upgraded.

- Only itme and service layouts are used for purchases.

- Only item and service layouts are used for sales

- Not aware of any consolidated tax code in use.  "PCS" is used for all overseas purchase with 0% rate.  There is no indication this is a consolidated tax code.

- No luxury car tax code used.

Interest in foreign currency is recorded to an Other Income account for all interest received, using the Receive Money function in Banking.  Is this be the reason why the file can't be supported?  Account type: Other Income.

Please provide guidance.

Kind regards,

Sally

  • Hi Sally_WS

I'd suggest checking out this Help page: Upgrade a Premier multi-currency company file, it explains a few situations that make the company file unable to be upgraded, one of them is having foreign currency accounts other than trade creditors, trade debtors, bank and credit card accounts. Since you have foreign currency Other Income account types, this would stop the upgrade.

Depending on the situation, you may try following the guide to purge old transactions, then try again.
