"Customer sales report" figures for same period is totally different between Desktop and Online Reports - MYOB Accountright

Hi All,

I just ran some "customer sales reports" for total sales via the Online Version for the period 1/1/2023 - 10/11/2023 to compare Total Invoice sales to 2024 and 2025.

It didnt look right, so I compared this to what the Desktop version shows and it is totally different figures by a lot?

Any ideas?

Thanks Nathan

    Thanks for reply.

I figured it out doing to invoice line item comparison between Desktop and Online reports thanks.

It was related to what "Employees" were selected in the Online Version. The AR Online report was missing Invoices from employees that are now Inactive. So when I changed it to ALL, it captured the correct total of all invoices.

    Thanks Nathan

    Hi nduro

Those differences can definitely throw you off. Quick checks:

    • Make sure both reports use the same dates and the same accounting basis/report type.
    • If they still don’t line up, export both and scan the line items to find the first odd one out, that usually shows what’s going on.

If it’s still off, jump into My Account to reach our support team, or ask MOCA (our virtual assistant) to connect you to live chat, so they can take a closer look.

    Regards,
    Genreve
