Error exporting report to Excel

I have just upgraded MYOB to 2025.1.1.8 but am getting error messages when exporting reports to excel.

 

E.g. Receivables Reconciliation report error comes up as aprecons.xlt cannot be accessed. The file may be corrupted, located on a server that is not responding, or read-only.

 

The same error occurs for any report to excel. However, i can export to csv and pdf.

 

I have uninstalled and re downloaded the current software file, however am still getting these errors.

    Hi Laura_HTS,

     

     Since you have done reinstalling and the issue in exporting report to excel still occurs, you can try doing the following steps below:

     

    • Go to Excel Options Dialog-box> Trust center> Trust center settings> Add new location (select the folder where you have saved .XLT files).
    • In trust center settings go to File Block Settings check mark the Open & Save on your versions of excel template.
