Exported To Excel - can't 'copy and paste'?

Hi All,

If I run a report (sales for this FY for a range of products for example) and export it into Excel, I'm finding that i can't then 'Copy & Paste' this data into another spreadsheet.

Is this just me & I have inadvertently changed a setting or something? Have been doing this for years without issue but something has changed recently?

    Hi DaveKC,

     

    You’re right to ask, when something that used to work suddenly acts differently, it’s often because of an Excel or Windows update. It could also be multiple Excel windows open, cell/workbook protection, an add‑in conflict, or even a glitchy clipboard. I found this link that walks through steps to fix this, and it looks the same to what you’re experiencing.
