How to identify which user created a transaction?

Hi

Is there a way that you can identify which staff member/user created a transaction in AccountRight?

Thank you in advance.

  • Hi SarahAJ,

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.

If you wish to know who created a transaction within your file, you may check the Journal Security Audit report. To access it, go to Reports > Accounts > Under Security and Audit, select Journal Security Audit.

Feel free to post again anytime if you require further assistance.

    Hey Sheree3,

You can check who entered a transaction by running the Journal Security Audit report. Once you’ve got it open, look for the User column, which shows exactly who created each entry, so it’s a handy way to get clarity on who’s been doing what in the file. If you want to pull up the report, here are the quick steps:

    • Go to Reports
    • Select Business
    • Look for Journal Security Audit Report

    Cheers,

    Doreen
