Hi Katie_P_,
Thank you for your post. Please allow me to extend you a warm welcome to the Community forum.
My apologies for the delayed response. I understand that you're having trouble with job numbers not appearing in your time billing reports, even though each entry has a job assigned to it. This indeed seems unusual. It's difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of this issue. However, there are a few things we can check to troubleshoot. Firstly, could you please confirm if you're using the desktop or browser version of your file? Secondly, ensure that the "Use Timesheets for" option in AccountRight is set up properly. This setting is crucial for the correct functioning of time-billing timesheets. Lastly, it's also worth checking if this issue persists across all types of time billing reports or if it's specific to certain ones.
Additionally, try generating job reports to see if they'll provide a job number. Please let me know how you get along and if you need further assistance.
Cheers,
Princess

Hi Princess,
To my knowledge the time billing reports are not functional in the browser yet? So I confirm as per the screenshot in my original post that the issue is occuring in AccountRight software.
The 'I use timesheets for' option is set to 'Time Billing & Payroll' which I understand to be correct?
I also confirm that the job number does not display in the "Activity Slip-Activity Detail", the "Job Slip Summary" or the "Job Slip Detail" reports, as per the screen shot of the report in my original post.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks
Katie

Hi Katie_P_,
Thank you for your response.
Apologies for the delayed response. I've replicated the situation on my end, testing all the reports you've specified. I can verify that the job numbers are indeed appearing. Could you kindly generate the Job slip summary report, then proceed to click on "Insert/Modify" and select the "show/hide" option?

For further information, please refer to this Help article, Displaying a Report, which has detailed information to assist with this.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi Princess,
That's great that you have been able to replicate it in a different file, I too can do that in other files.
My problem is that the file I am trying to generate the report in, is not working. As you can see from my original screen shot in which I have already used the 'Show/Hide' function to display the job numbers.
My original question still stands, is there a setting missing somewhere that is stopping these reports from working?
