The Sales Analyse Sales (Item) report might not work properly if the financial year settings aren't updated or recognised correctly in the system. To fix this, try clearing your AccountRight cache first, as this can sometimes resolve unusual behavior. Also, make sure your file is set to the correct financial year by going to Set up > Company Information. Lastly, check that the date filters (Date From and Date To) are set to the correct period dates.
