Unable to produce unpaid bills and invoices reports

Once again unable to print the most basic reports.  This is both on desktop as well on the browser.  I have tried clearing the MYOB Cache etc a million times.

    Good morning Sandy,

    Thank you for your advice.

However, I tried your suggestion and it didn't work this time.

James this is what worked for me

Search Clear the accounting Cache and it will give you a step-by-step guide

    Hope it helps

AccountRight caches some information that it loads so that it can be referred faster the next time it is needed. This also keeps hold of certain instructions used with reporting and some other operations with data entry or displaying information on the page.

While this can make the operations faster the next time around there are times where this can become corrupted and cause odd behaviour in AccountRight such as missing information or incorrect information loading on some pages. A common troubleshooting step is to clear these cache files that AccountRight uses so that when you next open AccountRight it re-creates the cached information and can resolve some odd behaviour.

    Hi Genreve,

I'm having the same issue now. I tried to clear the Cache folder but it's still not working. Can you help me fix it asap? Thank you

    Hi SandyWW

I ran the same script on your file, it should resolve the error you’re seeing. The issue is file-specific rather than widespread, and these hiccups can happen for a few different reasons. If the script didn’t do the trick, just follow the steps I shared earlier.

    Hi Sandy,

Mine is working now (for the moment, this is not the first time I had this issue and don't it would be the last time either).  some of the suggestions above as absolute BS.

Run the report over a shorter date range - there is no date range for Unpaid bills/invoices reports they "as at"

    Step 2 - does nothing

    3. I have not touched my chart accounts in years, so why issues no

    4. Not going to do that,

Clearing the MYOB cache sometimes helps.

The issue is now fixed (for the moment) sorry if I sound skeptical, as repeated dramas with MYOB lately, I want to have one week problem free usage. thank you for your assistance

    Hi Umag

Thanks for the screenshots, they’re super helpful. There are heaps of possible reasons for the “Failed to load report” error, and those images really help narrow it down.

I’ve run a fix script on your file, which should resolve the issue. If it still plays up, try these quick steps:

    • Run the report over a shorter date range.
    • Refresh the report by opening Report Settings and clicking Save.
    • Verify whether your Chart of Accounts appears to be misconfigured.
    • If needed, re-upload your accounts using Import/Export, which can help too.

    Regards,
    Genreve
