2022.4 Add-on connector problems

I have an add-on- solution. Works fine for AR files prior to 2022.4. After updating a file recently to 2022.4 I am getting "commununication errors" reported. Seen this in my development environment...

hmmm...this does not inspire confidence. Does it give you any other info besides "comm exception"...can you debug? stack trace?

 

There is a log location here (I think) C:\Program Files (x86)\MYOB\API\2.0.2022.3\logs - maybe check that for clues? 

 

Not sure if the location will be the same in 2022.4

 

is it intermittent or happens every time?

    THanks for your response.

    I have now uninstalled all old versions of AccountRight and the existing Addon connector, installed fresh version of AccountRight 2022.4 and add-on connector frmo downloads page, (Software Downloads | MYOB Australia) and all working now.

    I think my Add-on connector may have been from an earlier version and it did not recognise the new file version.
