Hi Helen, thanks for your response. I am confused by your last statements - is adding a custom view to the database a "change written to the existing MYOB databases"? I.e. the view is created in and therefore is stored in the SQL database, so is this considered a "chang written to the MYOB databases". Im specifically interested in whether a view containing a simple SELECT SQL statement would affect the warrantee. Thanks for your help.

The statement refers to the databases as created by MYOB. For example, if you were to use 3rd party software, and import data from that software into the view, and then update the MYOB database (as it currently stands), you are not using the software to write a change to the database, and that would void the warranty. By "write a change", I am referring to data change.
