This is the file structure and note that the tax code is included
Note also that the account already exists and is set up for GST
However when the file imports it sets the tax code to NTR

Thanks for writing us on community forum.
In relation to your query about the tax code getting changed when you do the journals.
When you do manual journal, please click on Apply GST check box within the Add journals box, as if we do not click on this check box, it reverts the tax code to NTR.
I have tried it on my image and it works well. I have attached the image for you convenience..

No this is not the answer I wanted at all.
I am trying to automate load of data into AO.
The fact that I cannot load the GST codes means I cannot load the data and the import function is complete useless to me.
Please lift your game MYOB.
Your competitors are doing this sort of thing much better
