I understand and am more than aware 'the application only allows you to include the transactions until the date of the bank deposit by design' the problem is that I can see clearly see that the deposit date is 30/8/2023 but the transactions within it are all dated 1/9/23 - this should have been the deposit date and could only be the date that was entered. The Journal Security Audit report shows that I entered the transaction, I know that I entered it as no other staff have access to the bank account. I know that I entered the transaction correctly and I know that something has gone wrong. There are several bank deposit transactions entered on the same date that have been 'recorded' by the software incorrectly. It may be that I am the only one who has reported this issue and I am reluctant to send any screen shots to show you what I am talking about but know 100% that something has gone wrong and it is not a user error. It is not possible for me to enter 30/8/23 and have transaction from 1/9/23 show in the undeposited screen. We are both saying the same thing here and yet you continue to direct me to the same answer.
I am reluctant to fix all these transactions only to find that the issue continues to occur, however, I have taken a bunch of screen shots, saved the Journal Security Audit report and will make adjustments so as I can accurately reconcile my account and hope that it was just some weird rip in the time continium....
