Bank feeds maps to a new account not to the existing bank GL account

Hi All,   I just connected bank feeds in MYOB accounts right and see that once the bank feeds are activated it creates a new account instead of mapping into existing account - can you please advi...

    Hi Gayathris,

    Totally get how that’d be a bit confusing. Yes, you should be able to map the bank feed to your existing account, as long as that account is set up in AccountRight as a Bank or Credit Card account. 

    You can do this from the bank feed setup or management area by changing the Associated Account to the existing account you want the feed linked to. Just one thing to keep in mind — if the bank feed has already had matched transactions approved and reconciled, you’d first need to undo the reconciliation and unapprove those matches before the linked account can be changed.
