Bank Feeds

I have just discovered that I can use the bank fee to start the reconciliation process (prior to this I have been reconciling manually through the Banking, Reconcile Accounts)

My question is I have a long list of entries in the bank feeds (that were manually reconciled dating back several years ago and some current), if I hide these items, is that the best way to minimize the list, as I want to have only the current items listed for approval.
