Generally speaking, you can update the pay from account on Pay Bills and Spend Money transactions by opening the transactions and updating that Pay from account.
However, these would be the common things that would prevent that access:
- Setup>>Preferences>>Transactions Can't be Changed, They Must be Reversed is enabled
- The payment transaction has been included in an Electronic Payment i.e. the electronic payment option is enabled
- User access prohibits the ability to edit a transaction but making that section Read Only
- The transaction was involved in a Supplier deposit situation.
