Double up account transfers

I went to reconcile my accounts yesterday as I do daily, and found a heap of old reconciled transfers in both accounts. they were identical shadow transfers dated back to April 2025. I contacted Myob and was told how to rectify this. I undid every reconciled month back to the first affected date, then re-reconciled every month again. Today it has happened again. Does anyone know why this would be happening? I have been setting up the superannuation for employees. Could linking accounts be responsible?

    Thank you for your reply. I was advised also by telephone support to undo my reconciliations back to the first duplicate transaction, so back to April 2025. I have done this twice now and still these reconciled transactions keep coming back. I have spent many hours on the phone with the support team. They haven't been able to give me answers or fix the problem. I heard Myob did a big upgrade, and this may be causing the issue. I have emailed as well but they have not replied. I have given up with this accounting system and looking into a more reliable company.

    Hi 

    This has happened to me also. I never used the browser version only PC. I was asked by my

    new accountant to start using the browser. As soon as I started to data enter in the browser my reconciliations started show previously reconciled transactions. No when I try to reconcile have transactions dating back to 2021. I was advised to hide the transactions that were already reconciled

    I did this but more kept coming. Have you had any luck in fixing the problem.

  • I am having this trouble also.  I have gone through undoing reconciliation TWICE going back to 2025 with the help of telephone support.  Now I have several transactions that have already been reconciled dating back to 2022!! I have now undone my reconciliation until April 2025 to find another one.  There is something wrong with my Accountright.  Did you find a solution?

    Sorry for the delayed response. That sounds like it has been a rough ride, especially with how much time you've already spent trying to get this sorted.

     

    If you're still not getting anywhere over the phone, I'd recommend reaching out through My Account or chatting with our live support team through MOCA, our virtual assistant. Those options can sometimes be the quickest way to get this looked into further.

    Hi Genreve,

     

    Thank you for your response. I have not been able to get this issue resolved even though I have spent endless hours on the phone with Myob help desk. Nobody know what they are doing in my opinion. they are the experts, not me. This has been going on since Tuesday the 23rd of June. I need to reconcile my accounts but can't because of these old, previously reconciled transactions sitting in these accounts.

    Hi Sabina_M

     

    I wouldn’t expect the super linked accounts to cause that.

     

    It does look more like it could be connected to the Smart Reconciliation update, but we can’t say that for certain.

     

    What you’ve described about clearing it up is the same process Support usually recommends. If it’s happened again, I’d suggest reaching out to our Support team so they can take a closer look.

     

    You can do that by creating a ticket through My Account or chatting with our live chat team through MOCA, our virtual assistant.
