Emailed MYOB and below is their reply. I had already done all of their suggestions, but did it again anyway, but still no luck. I also emailed them back asking them to look at all the people post in this forum so they don't think I am the only one.
Thanks for your support request.
Apologies for the delay. Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with recording transactions.
Try these suggestions to help you:
Confirm the transaction really isn’t recording
After you click Record, please check these two places:
Transaction Journal
Go to Banking > Transaction Journal (or Accounts > Transaction Journal depending on your layout).
Choose the relevant tab (for example:
Sales for invoices
Purchases for bills
Receipts for Receive Money
Disbursements for Spend Money
General for journal entries)
Set Date From to a few days before the transaction date and Date To to a few days after.
Make sure any Search field is blank.
Find Transactions
Go to Find Transactions.
Choose the relevant tab (for example Sales, Purchases, or All).
Filter by:
The Customer/Supplier (if applicable), or
The exact amount, and
A date range that includes the transaction date.
If the transaction doesn’t appear in either place, then it genuinely hasn’t recorded (it’s not just hidden by filters).
Try to Clear the AccountRight cache
Close AccountRight completely.
On your keyboard, press Windows key + R.
In the Run box, type or paste:
%localappdata%\MYOB\AccountRight\
Press Enter.
Open the folder that matches your current version (the 2025.11 folder).
Open the Cache folder.
Delete everything inside the Cache folder (only the contents, not the folder itself).
Reopen AccountRight, open your company file again, and try recording a test transaction.
