Open banking

Good afternoon everyone

 

When is MYOB scheduled to commence using open banking?

 

Intuit is rolling it out right now and it has caused a few glitches

 

Is anyone here involved in the pilot and can shed any light

    Hi Zappy

     

    Yep, open banking is definitely on our dev team's radar, the product teams are already working on it, and it’s part of the roadmap, not just a “nice to have”.

    They’re digging into how to roll it out in a way that’s stable and secure, so we don’t end up with glitches. I don’t have anything official I can share yet, but it is being worked on behind the scenes.

    Once it's ready to go public with more details, you’ll start seeing updates come through the usual channels.

    Open banking is coming soon! Customers will be able to start a new connection via OB from May onwards. You can find more information here -

    Looping back around - Open Banking is now live for all MYOB customers and all participating banks.

    Is that why bank feeds have started in a file where it hasn’t been requested?  It’s altered bank recs going back 6 months suddenly ( happened since 30/4/26 bank rec was done on 6/5/26.

    Can’t get. Response to my support request 2 days ago despite being a priority support customer.  On my second call today trying to follow up on my open support ticket.  First call over 1 hr in queue before I couldn’t stay on the call.  Now on 2nd attempt, only 17 mins currently so I guess I’ll be here all night waiting to get through.

    Oh, but I did manage to get the invoice you sent me for my next monthly charge - good to see I can continue to pay MYOB and get nothing in return

    Hi JanBQ

    No bank feeds should ever be created without someone setting this up - consent is required from the MYOB and bank side. 

    Can you please provide your support ticket reference number?
